Bloodbloom

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 117 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has several branched, slanted stems covered in very thick, rough, black with white speckled bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are short stubs that and are covered with thick bunches of giant, thick, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either copper, or olive with magenta streaks, frail and smooth.

It produces a thick sheet of giant, peach flowers with fan-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have an intensely strong scent that smells like blood. In early autumn it forms smallamber berries.
