Emerald Heart Moss

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In heathlands, On trees, and In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely frail.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
