Climbing Firevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 26 feet (7.9 meters)0.

It takes 14 months for the pink-red stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The broad, flat, clammy leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are found in caramel and black varieties, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many average dark brown flowers.


It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
