Bluebell Tree

This large tree grows up to 67 meters (219.8 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 79 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a narrow, wonky trunk covered in thin, knobbly, gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is light brown.

The large clumps of branches are short and thin and are covered with large amounts of waxy, miniature, broad, flat leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in sky blue and blue varieties.

In early spring, it produces balls of small, sky blue blossoms with 7 umbrella-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like cheese.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, silver, shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.
