Ashvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 279 feet (85.0 meters) and growing as high as 102 feet (31.1 meters).

It takes 5 years for the ashy red stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and rubbery.

The thin, soft leaves reach up to 2.6 feet (79 cm) in length. They are generally gentle blue, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of average aquamarine flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of very large berries.
