Cliffvine

This small, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and tough and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, caramel tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of giant grains.
