Spike Moss

This moss green moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas On trees, In rainy mountain ranges, and In heathlands.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly strong; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
