Copperfinger Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 29 feet (8.8 meters) tall. The pleated stem is yellow-green, and is covered in handfuls of rigid grey spines. The jagged-edged, finger-like leaves are copper on the edges and pink at the center. Small bunches of them grow from the base in a loosely patterned way. The leaves are robust, and easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid bold blue petals and a turquoise central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 20 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like warm cookies.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the grey flesh is smooth, and the light brown sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
