Coppervine

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 160 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of thick, angular stems covered in very thick, knobbly, copper-coloured bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, very narrow and elongated, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are copper on the edges and pink at the center, flexible and waxy.

It produces bunches of large, peach flowers with finger-like petals. They are sturdy and have a soft scent that smells like onion. In late summer it forms tinyblood red, shelled seeds.
