Crimson Bine

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 305 feet (93.0 meters) and growing as high as 27 feet (8.2 meters).

It takes 8 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The thin, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are found in red and blue varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces dozens of average crimson flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large seed pods.
