Clingsilver Bush

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 45 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of wide, crooked stems covered in silky, black bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are very long and thin with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of miniature, very thin, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are a shade of orange that gradient shifts to lime at the top, durable and smooth.

In early summer it produces thousands of large, bold yellow flowers with asymmetrical petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They are sturdy and have a delicate scent that smells like leather.

It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
