Copper Vine

This enormous bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 799 feet (243.5 meters) and growing as high as 652 feet (198.7 meters).

It takes 24 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2.1 feet (64 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The very narrow and elongated, soft leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are black and slate, and have rounded edges.
