Emerald Flame Moss

This cyan moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In damp forests.
It is big, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely frail; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
