Climbing Moonbine

This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 70 feet (21.3 meters).

It takes 11 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and fibrous.

The 5 pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in cyan and beige varieties, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a thick sheet of average dark grey flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of very large seed pods.
