Silver Tailgrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in large clumps that are durable and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, violet tail.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of large grains.
