Violet Vine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 17 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are tough and woody.

The 9 pointed, smooth leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are purple at the bottom and violet with copper dots at the top, and have rounded edges.
