Copper Puff Grass

Grass type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, copper puff.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.

It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for making paper
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
