Climbing Rubber Vine

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 939 feet (286.2 meters).

It takes 3 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The pleated, leathery leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are found in red, pink and peach varieties, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many colossal lime flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny seed pods.
