Fan Spine Cactus

This short cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 6 fan-like stems. Each stem is gray-green, and is covered in brittle yellow spines. The spherical body is florescent green and yellow-green, and is covered in brittle yellow spines.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid olive petals decorated with blue lines and a olive central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like pineapple.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the grey flesh is soft, and the aquamarine sap is thin.
