Coniumpine

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 148 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several stocky, slanted stems covered in knobbly, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is dark brown.

The branches are very short, thin and wispy with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of giant, very thin, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in pink and bold purple varieties, hardy and crispy.

In mid-summer it produces a thick sheet of tiny, bold purple flowers with crescent-shaped shaped petals. They fall easily and have a weak scent that smells like new books.
