Blue Flaxgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This big, azure grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in sparse patches that are strong and tough and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, muted blue tuft.
During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
