Cliffvine

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 160 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several wide, crooked stems covered in thick, cracked, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is white.

The branches are very short and thick with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of small, stiff, pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either olive, or turquoise with indigo splotches, delicate and sticky.

In late spring it produces several small, amber flowers with sickle shaped petals. They are very delicate and have a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like vomit.
