Burgundy Hazelgrass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in small clumps that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, hazel tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
