Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 5 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The fan-like, leathery leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are generally copper, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of average washed-out purple flowers.

It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
