Claspvine

This big shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for around 12 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, straight stems covered in rough, black bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches are very long and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of large, very narrow and elongated, leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in turquoise, dark yellow and subtle orange varieties, resistant and clammy.

It produces large amounts of medium-sized, brown flowers with sickle shaped petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are very delicate and have a strong scent that smells like glue. In late winter it forms giantslate berries.
