Clinging Crimson Grass

This short, white grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The teardrop-shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, crimson flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
