Clinging Conifer

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 107 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has several knobbly, curved stems covered in very thick, smooth, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches are long and thin with thousands of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, 9 pointed, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in lilac and caramel varieties, frail and smooth.

It produces dozens of medium-sized, lime flowers with sickle shaped petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have an overpowering scent that smells like cherry. In early summer it forms medium-sizedlime, spiky-shelled seeds.
