Clinging Skyvine

This small vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 731 feet (222.8 meters).

It takes 5 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are tough and woody.

The circular, clammy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are vibrant yellow at the bottom and blue with dark brown patches at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many small caramel flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of tiny seed pods.
