Silverstone Succulent

This short leaf succulent grows up to 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall. The thin stem is red, and is covered in handfuls of fine, green, hair-like spines. The pebble-like leaves are dark grey and silver. Very large amounts of them grow on stumpy, moss green branches that trail down towards the ground. The leaves are strong, and detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are slate on the underside and silver on the top grow at the top, reappearing after 8 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 9 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight cup. It has the faintest scent that smells like alcohol.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the lime flesh is rough, and the dark yellow sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
