Bluevine

This enormous creeper is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,564 feet (476.7 meters) and growing as high as 599 feet (182.6 meters).

It takes 8 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4.9 feet (1.5 meters) and are rough and woody.

The sickle shaped, leathery leaves reach up to 2.7 feet (81 cm) in length. They are blue on the edges and brown at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several small blue flowers.
