Rosetuft Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, green tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
All parts of the grass are edible.
It is very resistant to fire damage.
