Bloodvine

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 765 feet (233.2 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 8 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The pleated, sticky leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are dark grey on the sides and blood red at the center, and have serrated edges.
