Bloodleaf Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 28 feet (8.5 meters) tall. The tapering stem is cream or indigo, and is covered in handfuls of flexible silver spines. The ripped-edged, asymmetrical leaves are blood red and slate. Large amounts of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are robust, but do not detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with white petals that gradient shift to gold on the outer edge. The central disk is olive grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. It has an overpowering scent that smells like ashes.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the brown flesh is waxy, and the caramel sap is thin.
