Twistvine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 195 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, wavy trunk covered in knobbly, light brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is pale brown.
The small bunches of branches are long and thin and are covered with small amounts of rough, large, fan-like leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are found in turquoise and faded red varieties.
In late summer it forms tiny, brown, shelled seeds.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
