Brownfern

This brown moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In marshes.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps, and is slightly strong; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
