Coppervine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 25 feet (7.6 meters) and growing as high as 958 feet (292.0 meters).

It takes 12 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The wide, waxy leaves reach up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) in length. They are solid olive with silver zig-zags, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of small copper flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of small fruits.
