Crimson Creeper

This small creeper is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 112 feet (34.1 meters).

It takes 5 months for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are tough and woody.

The perforated, leathery leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in amber and lilac varieties, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of giant crimson flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.
