Copperleaf

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 24 feet (7.3 meters) tall. The very thin stem is yellow, and is covered in sharp spines. The finger-like leaves are brown and orange. Copious amounts of them grow on wide, silver branches that trail down towards the ground. The leaves are sturdy, and detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are green on the edges and cyan at the center, grow at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of many raised, narrow petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like an ocean breeze.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the blood red flesh is sticky, and the pink sap is thin.
