Blueberry Caudiciform

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This huge caudiciform grows up to 150 feet (45.7 meters) tall. The thin stem is brown, and is covered in dozens of flexible blue spines. The wide, orange trunk can grow to as much as 150 feet (45.7 meters) in diameter. Its yellow branches are very long and slender.

The ripped-edged, thin leaves are generally lime. They are sturdy, and detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are generally brown; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour, grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of dozens of widely spaced, narrow petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like chocolate.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the orange flesh is slimy, and the magenta sap is thin.

The sap causes severe allergic reactions.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is very resistant to fire damage.
