Copper Succulent

This modest-sized cactus grows up to 38 feet (11.6 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 6 pleated stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in hundreds of flexible red spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 8 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are indigo on the underside and pastel blue on the top grows at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 12 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. It has the faintest scent that smells like pepper.

The cactus's skin is thick, the magenta flesh is waxy, and the bronze sap is thin.
