Coppergrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The 8 pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, violet spikelet.

During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
