Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 25 feet (7.6 meters) and growing as high as 188 feet (57.3 meters).

It takes 17 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The fan-like, fuzzy leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are lime on the edges and florescent yellow at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of tiny sky blue flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a few large seed pods.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
