Golden Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in small clumps that are strong and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, brown tail.
During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The leaves have medicinal properties.
