Copper Cactus

This average-sized cactus grows up to 21 feet (6.4 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 6 narrow stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in hundreds of fine, lime, hair-like spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 19 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with intense purple petals and a light brown central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. It has a strong scent that smells like rich perfume.

The cactus's skin is tough, the aquamarine flesh is smooth, and the cyan sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.
