Emerald

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and In marshes.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release thousands of spores.
