Crimson Moss

This deep red and crimson moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In bogs, and In marshes.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely hardy; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores.
