Sunset Grass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)This modest-sized, orange-yellow grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in extensive patches that are light and frail and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, deep orange tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It blooms only at night.
