Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 2 pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are robust and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, yellow flower.
During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
It is very resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
