Aquamarine Spike Cactus

This large cactus grows up to 86 feet (26.2 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is brown, and is covered in large amounts of fine, silver, hair-like spines. The spherical body is pink-red, and is covered in hundreds of rigid aquamarine spines.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are red on the underside and silver on the top, grow at the top, reappearing once every 3 years. The flower head is shaped like a dish made up of many raised, round-tipped petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like lavender.

The cactus's skin is tough, the violet flesh is rubbery, and the florescent orange sap is thin.
