Blueberry Agave

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 52 feet (15.8 meters) tall. The wispy stem is peach, and is covered in sharp spines. The toothed-edged, very thin leaves are either aquamarine or brown, with blue patches. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in no particular order. The leaves are frail, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is very slow growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid blue petals decorated with peach dots and a amber central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with many tightly layered narrow petals. It has a fairly strong scent that smells like cigarette smoke.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the yellow flesh is leathery, and the slate sap is thin.
